08-14-2019, 11:40 AMMy ECU has gone faulty on my CFMOTO 650TR, it shows Error Codes 47 and 48, Oxygen sensors and the Side Stand Switch does not cut the engine anymore, it is also using more fuel, I know it is the ECU that is the problem, we have fitted my ECU on to another good bike and the faults are the same, fitted the original ECU back to the good bike and all is OK, we did not fit the good ECU to my bike just in case.
The fault codes do not start flashing on either bike until it has been running for a couple of minutes, but the side stand switch does not work from the beginning, it is the same on both bikes when my ECU is fitted, is the ECU faulty or could it just need re-setting, anybody else had this fault and fixed it.

Sounds very much like the ECU is the culprit. You might be able to have it recalibrated if you can find a service centre/workshop with the programming device that plugs into the ECU. I don't recall the year of your 650TR/TK BigPhil but if it's one of the earlier models (circa. 2013-2015) then the ECU's (Ducati from memory) aren't up to the task. I've had to replace the ECU on both my Jetmax (CF250T-6A) and 650TR because the ECU (Ducati's if my memory serves me correctly) died. It's for this reason that CFMoto moved from the Ducati ECU to another manufacturer on the later model bikes. I did look to buy one of the ECU programmer units in Ch!na but I didn't...

I replaced with the same brand (Ducati) as the newer ECUs that CFMoto have gone with, from a different manufacturer, aren't backwards compatible AFAIK
