10-17-2009, 07:26 AMI can't help myself
The stock 'pegs on the Kinlon motard are a bit small for my big feet, and without the rubber insert they are not very road boot friendly either
I had to weld a small section of 2.5mm steel plate to the original footpeg mount but that was no big deal. Converting beck to the OEM pegs is simply a matter of removing the welded in piece and putting it back together again.Cheers Will.

10-17-2009, 07:30 AMAlso fitted a toolbag from a Suzuki DR-Z400. I had to use a small rectangle of 8mm urethane between the bike's guard and the underside of the toolbag 'cause the Zook guard is more curved the the Kinlon's. Does the trick though!
Cheers Will.

10-18-2009, 07:51 AMNah, I gave up the booze twenty years agoBelieve it or not, black is one of my favourite colours
As an aside to the footpeg mods, I also trimmed about 12mm off the rear brake master cylinder pushrod to lower the brake pedal height, it was way too high to start with and need a lift of the foot to activate it, not good in an emergency
Now I only need to move my ankle in about 20mm to get on the rear anchor quickCheers Will.

Looks like you're building yourself a formidable machine there! She got a name?
Was meaning to ask you, what do you think about the stock saddles on your bike?

10-20-2009, 09:52 AMYeah Carl, it's getting therethe handlebar brush guards should be here soon
I don't know about a name, what about 'Black"?
I think the seat was designed to go with the small eight litre fuel capacity It grows teeth after about 45 minutes if it really bugs me later I might get it reupholstered. It's not like my butt isn't padded enoughCheers Will.

I think that's probably the best looking Kinlon of that model I've seen. You take great care of your bikes! It still running okay? I guess its coming up on summer for you now yeah? Got any rides planned?
