11-11-2009, 05:48 AMReally good looking stuff.
Have you got one of it?
What is the real maximum speed these with 350cc engine?
And fuel consumption for 100km in the traffic and the road?
I have a Keeway Supershadow (clone of Yamaha XV250 Virago). The real maximum speed, I was riding - 125km/h. But I know these bikes can run faster after little fixing in CDI.
And what about this bike? Can you write about your experience? I'm interesting of it.Last edited by Lefthandy; 11-17-2009 at 05:17 PM.

Hi Lefthandy
My english is not too good, hope yo could understand me
I don't have a raptor.... yet. I'm looking after.
In Spain the 350cc has just arrived, then not too many people has it. From those I know, I heard that since the beginning the bike gets 100km/h, when the 125 could get only 70-80. Have no idea how much speed could get when the engine works in perfect conditions.
The same about consumption, I heard that it is about 4 liters in 100 km. But I have no real data.
I can tell you that the 125 consumption is around 4 liters, and max speed 115, been "stable" speed at 100, this 350 should be better.
If you want, you can visit my website and forum, it's basically in Spanish, but some people speaks English better than me.

11-16-2009, 07:15 PMThanx for info, Xacarrere.
Don't worry, my english is not good too
I understood everything.
I have another question. About Regal-Raptor DD250E-9B
One of my friend bought it. But problem is that the very rare bike in Poland, because here aren't any dealer of this bikes.
Now he has problem with torque: too high after ignition.
We thinking that could be a not good regulation of carburetor. But we completely don't know about it. What kind of carburetor and engine.
Do you know someone who have this bike and some experience about exploatation?Last edited by Lefthandy; 11-16-2009 at 08:59 PM.

Maybe you have some Honda parts in Poland. I'm sure any Honda mechanic could fix this problem, or you could try buying a Honda CMX250 carburetor, but the twin carburetor version, not the single carburetor version, should work well with a Regal Raptor 250.
Engine and carburetor for this bike are a copy of the Honda CMX250 rebel.

11-17-2009, 05:03 PMThanks for info, ZMC888.
We rather not use of HONDA services - too expensive and level of services like in YAMAHA in U.K. (this topic about rusty YBR ). In our Club, we have a... platform (if you understand, what I mean) to help each other in technical problems. And we prefer selfservice :D
You sure about a This bike is clone of Rebel?
If I get any service manual or something of Honda Rebel, could use prameters and rules for this bike?

Is indeed a clone of the honda rebel.
Service manual of the honda rebel you can serve but not 100%
Is based on honda rebel, but not exactly the same
I asked a friend about the problem of this bike, when you know something, I'll tellRegal Raptor Riders passion regal raptor

11-24-2009, 07:07 AMIs the regal raptor the same as a Honda Rebel? The answer is yes and no.
Generally, the basic air cooled regal raptor is the same as the Honda Rebel, the 125 the same as a CMX 125 and the 250 the same as a 250.
However, the Regal Raptor is the same as a Japanese Domestic Market Honda Rebel, also sold in Australia, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, and other Asian Countries. Not the same as the export version sold in N. America and Europe.
Differences between Japan CMX250 and Export CMX 250
Twin exhaust on the same side in Japan.
Front disk brake on the right in Japan.
Twin Carburators in Japan (single in N. America/Europe)
Softer suspension
Lower seat height
The Regal Raptors are identical to a Japan market Rebel except
Cast wheels on RR
Chinese carbs on RR (functionally the same)
Regal Raptor has various models and they may include things like
Twin front disks
Water cooled engine
Sissy bar
Tail light located below rear fender
Hard bags
Rear disk brake
Twin exhausts one on each side
Speedometer located on gas tank
Larger gas tank
Bullhorn handlebars
Handlebar riser
