Hi
Not been to the big T but just done over 20.000 km all around North Thailand and I must say it takes a lot to beat the rides I have just done Chiang Rai , Chiang Mai , Pia . And when you think about it some of the loops have been rated in the top 10 rides in the world ! But as I said not rode in the Big T . I hope bikerdoc will start posting some of the RR he said he would do soon and people can see how fantastic the rides and views are well that my 2 cents
But saying all that I am here in Hainan just now for 6 more weeks and so far the rides have been very good and you don't need all the shit you have to do to get into the Big T"Arguing on the Internet is like running in the Special Olympics, even if you win you're still retarded"

I am sure there are some great roads all over the world !! But we are in china , so most of us are restricted to places near us let it be the other side of china ! As you can ride your bikes from china by way of Laos to Thailand is a good option for some of us to ride in. And it's not only just the rides/roads it's just a better place to ride your bike in i.e no nops of Chinese riders and cars to contend with and I think you know what I mean , and it was just nice to stop at lovely coffee shops and be Abel to get some western food hehe . You just need to ride in North Thailand to understand more in what I am saying , but I am sure the Doc will go into more details when we see the RR . But so far Hainan is livening up to all that I have read on here about riding here . Still have the nops Of Chinese riders but so very exciting roads to be found here

Hi,
I have been riding in N. Thailand 12 times over the years and enjoyed every minute of it. But it is very different from Tibet, each unique in its own way.
Are you back to the other side of the world or still hanging in Xingjiang? I am planning a trip there in May.
Cheers,
Franki

Welcome back Franki! Great video, as usual.
Again, you are always welcome to visit beautiful British Columbia, Canada, to enjoy our >550,000 kms of unpaved fire/logging roads throughout the province. Bring your camera!
