Yamaha Jianshe have the clearest most concise website of all…
The two in tandem hold the sixth position within the fifty largest producers of motorcycles in China.
They have 5% of the total market and had marginal growth of 0.03% for the first half of 2013.
Yamaha’s Chinese website links directly to its partners site Jianshe, that has a link to China South Industries group.

I would like to see these two drag stars manufactured in India, but also in additional versions called Bolts and in a 250 and 400 form. They need to get their global competitive set on high.
I think that encouraging style statements is safer then performance as in high powered, they do not need to go so fast particularly for new riders. If is all about being a leisure sport then that’s all about leisurely ridding apposed to death defying. Its not about proving anything or at least it should not be.

I wonder if the Indian market would rather have one of these then a 500CC HD, a plus for Yamaha would be in that they could export them to the USA with little or no repercussions, they could manufacture the 250, 400 and 650 there and likley drop a grand off their retail prices in the USA and likely double the profit margin…maybe.
V Star Custom (650) $6,990.00 USD
V Star 250 $4,340.00 USD
