I've seen a few accidents too and this looks pretty real to me. Especially the amount of debris scattered from the motorcycle that hit the post. Also, I'm fairly certain that news outlets would be printing their details based off police reports of a traffic accident rather than eyewitness accounts. I really don't want to go back and look more closely at the pictures to debate it with you however so I will concede the point for now. Again, I hope you're right.
