The price is a lot better. ($845 USD). Thanks for the link. Do you think yamaha parts could be used? Is it a faithful copy?

I would like a bike with at least 18" wheels.. better if the front is 21". This is for safety, I think there is less chance of an accident (small scooter wheels can be swallowed by potholes on bad roads).

The route involves some very high passes and lots of mountainous areas. A 125 loaded-up might struggle at high altitudes.. although I doubt the roads there will allow high speeds anyway. But FI or a bigger displacement would probably be a good idea. Are there any FI "kits" sold on taobao for bikes like the YBR125?

I will put a post in the "Dirt n' Dual-Sport" forum, to try to get some more input.

Just booked flights to Macau, will arrive on the 13th May (one week from now). Hopefully will get our visas before arriving, otherwise will try to pick it up in Macau.
