Seen about 6800 RPM but didn't want to over rev the engine since Roadkill who suggest this CDI said that it did not have a rev limiter.
Not adjustable.
I'll try the coil and new wire after I run the DF with the new CDI for a while. Trying to change one thing at a time. I'm carrying the old CDI in the saddle bag just in case of problems with new one. Also I'm going to swap the old one back in to see verify difference.
