Its all highway from Kunming to Huize - after Songming totaly empty. That part is to be recommended for the ones how want to see whats in their Porsches and Lambos, instead of poosing around in the congested Kunming! The Passat can run on cruise control with 160. So new, not even speed control units their yet

Then some nice '2nd Class Highway' very wide, smooth curves, beautiful mountain view, around 200km. Then its brand new Expressway again, the section around Yibin is in bad condition, but empty. And the final leg on the Chongqing-Chengdu Expressway.

Stop for fuel, tollgate and cupnoodles - I really dont miss the traffic around Shanghai, countryside roads are more nice and expressways in western China tend to be excellent and empty

Back it was 9h fully loaded...

I dont have the speed tickets from Sichuan Section yet...anyhow, seems they hardly enforce them between provinces
