To fix a rear disk you need to change the swingarm and hub as well as add a rear master cylinder. Considering the cost and effort, one could argue it's not worth it.
I would suggest being sure your rear drums are properly adjusted... especially after buying it new. Lots of parts will stretch and settle after a few hundred miles/kms.
