Just did an oil change, completely removed the kick stand safety switch wire and tightened up bolts. Now going to the DMV to get my mc endorsement. The stand switch needs to be unplugged at the stand, then follow it to the oil can and unplug it there.

turner, I did mine with a 15' black wrap. make sure you soak it before applying. I soaked mine for 12 hours to get it nice and pliable. Use gloves when you wrap it, the blue nitrile worked fine for me, and clothes you dont mind getting dirty. After soaking start at the rear of the pipe loop it once the work your way up. Keep it tight.
I used hose clamps to lock it down. I then reattached the pipe started the bike and let it run to dry it. Took it off again then sprayed it with the silicone and let that set before putting it back on the bike

Anyone have problems in 5th gear? I would shift in to 5th and would start to lose acceleration. This would happen at 55mph and would come and go. I am going to check the fluid level in the morning and wanted input on other things to check.

lewnor, would it bottom out or hesitate? Is your throttle cable caught kinked or snagged?
