showing my ignorance, as i looked under the bike at the kickstand i saw the wires running into the plastic mechanism and tried to pull at the base of the wires where it is rubber and looks like it connects.....Needless to say, NO GO! Once again non mechanically inclined! I will keep trying different ways of unplugging things at the kickstand. Thanks for the reply MK2... happened to notice your from Ohio as well!
