I will be back at my bike in roughly an hour, if you haven't had luck by then i'll get a picture for you. And id like to go to that but promised my lady a month ago we'd go to the zoo that weekend unfortunately. Still working on sweet talking her into not beingpissed if I cancel that. :) haha

irish, I popped the connector out and then taped the end to keep water out of it then just zip tie it to the frame

kevin what are you looking to do? Is it the fender or the sissy that is eluding you

I blame it all on Scotty C. Designing the stock fenders so damn perfect, anything else looks half-assed, or at least with my limited skills.

I think I'm going to settle for chopping the stocker and painting to match the tank. I made a little shitwizard logo to paint on the fender where the little white bird lives. I think I'll go this route in the next few weeks.

Heres the logo! I found the wings and added the text. I was gonna drop a dollar sign above the wings to make a S W out of it all. The dollar sign turned into an 'S' with a little piece 'o poo.

I like it, the logo that is, keep playing with the fender you have take blue tape and draw the curves you want on it. bet the only reason that it looks off is that its raw. rattle can it with the glossy black to test it

Vintage Bike days in Lexington next weekend?
The plug is on it, it's just a bit tricky to disconnect. Once you have it disconnected you'll need to unplug it in the oil can.

What's up guys? Anyone doing anything new and fresh on their whips? Guess I oughta join "tha 'book" to see whats going down in Heist town.

I been working on this forever. Love it in my head, just not feeling it on the bike.

I'll get some pics with it on the bike. Seriously, I polish it, unpolish it, mock it up long, then short, then polish it again. I just can't get on the same page once it's laying on the tire.
Tell you what, you send it to me and I'll through it on and let you know how it is in 3000 miles.

welcome Irish, I have had my Heist for a little bit and love it. Like you I am far from mechanically inclined and this is my first bike, the people on here and the facebook group are full of ideas and knowledge. Also gotta love the resources that we have in such great support from Tom and the guys at Pit. Where are you at in Ohio. I am about 2 miles from State 8.

thanks for the welcome Timsmithphoto.... I am actually located about an hour north of columbus so about 1:45 min from state 8 but my brother lives new State 8. The site has been helpful. Between Tom, Scotty C, and this site it seems like one can tackle anything with the heist. I am stumped with the new LED s and the installation of wheat bulbs as suggested by the dream weaver. I have an email out to him tonight so hopefully I will get them up and running tomorrow. can get two working but once all four hooked up they dont. He suggested installing wheat bulbs to replace the turn signal indicator bulb. Needless to say with my knowledge I am stumped now. The beauty is with this site and Tom and CCW I have no fear! Looking forward to a nice weekend of riding and Vintage Days next weekend.

    Keep on riding on!

Got the CDI in the mail today. Pop it on tomorrow and get some before/after vid for youse guyss. It's a bit bigger hope it fits in the can.

+1 for www.lifanenginepartswholesale.com Good prices quick shipping. You gotta dig thru the website though stuff is kinda hidden.

LOL lewnor, yeah man it's in the mail, soon as I'm done polishing and un-polishing and deciding which is better. However, there may be nothing left at that point.

    Welcome Tim, great pics man.
