Experts agree - do not use tap water.
* Water alone is corrosive and it does not keep your seals, gaskets, water pump and water pump impeller shaft lubricated enough.
* Distilled water is preferable to tap water for use in cooling systems. The minerals and ions typically found in tap water can be corrosive to internal engine components, and can cause a more rapid depletion of the anti-corrosion additives found in most antifreeze formulations
Anyway, the Huangpujiang water was emptied and replaced with coolant.
Rule of thumb: If it's not good enough for Milton's tea, it doesn't belong in your Moto!
Also did a trickle charge last night, since I was having the battery issues. Today rode to work (5km) then to the Shanghai South Train Station (8km) and she only stalled 3 times and now have NO PROBLEMS starting up._____________________
