    All,
After following you all on this blog for what seems like forever, and waiting endlessly for someone to say that Tba Heist was a P.O.S. and never hearing anything but praise, I just became the first Heist owner in Colorado. It was hand delivered from Vegas by the owner of 233 Motorsports. John gave me an awesome deal on his demo model the 233 Custom Blue. I bought it based solely on pics, and this blog with all of your opinions. I never saw one in person until I laid eyes on mine. I have admit that out here, 3 grand doesn't go this far. I was shocked that I got a bike this great for this kind of money. Id like to say a huge thanks to Gardo, John @ 233, Bret at Pit and all you other guys who post because without all the blogs and answered phone calls, there was no way that I would have believed this bike was for real!

It does not clear the G&D long pipe... even though the description on the website says, "On tha Heist this piece is for looks only, as it hits the stock exhaust if you try to kick it over. It is for looks only at the moment, unless you are running an aftermarket exhaust." Well, since the G&D long pipe that they offer is an aftermarket exhaust, I figured that's what they were referring to... after all, they sell it, so you'd think they would explicitly state that the kickstart wouldn't work with the aftermarket exhausts that they sell. I strongly suggest that they note on their website that this kickstart will not clear the G&D aftermarket exhausts that they offer. Regardless, I am VERY happy with the bike, the new G&D long pipe, and I'll either wait until they make a new kickstart, or just make/mod my own. As a side note, I could have sworn that someone posted a picture of a wrapped G&D long pipe that showed that the kickstart lever that Cleveland Cyclewerks offers does in fact clear it even with the extra width from the wrap... maybe it's just my luck that mine doesn't clear my (unwrapped) exhaust?
I thought the kick-starter worked with the G&D Long.... Huh.

Depends on the radius of the Curve on the kickstart

I contacted Scott at CCW and they have since changed the description that goes with the kickstart lever that they sell to, "Note: some Heist's will clear the G&D long, some bikes it hits slightly, so some modification might be required."

You made a great choice. This bike is fun as all hell, and the customer service from the company that makes it is second to none. It's also a good feeling when you find yourself ass deep in dime-a-dozen Harleys and your bike gets more attention and gawkers than theirs. Enjoy the bike, and ride safe!

    Congrats on the bike hammerhead!

OK guys long post ahead but there will be some pics at least.

Woohoo! Picked up my bike from Tom today and everything came out great. He welded up some nice bars with some sweet braided cables as well as a new exhaust. It's a longer, smaller dia. pipe that should fit the kicker when he gets them in. It's also completely gutted, but he made it to fit a small adjustable baffle that I had left over from my HD. It's a BCT baffle with a stepped down narrower section, and within it that, there is a washer inside for a little back-pressure, not really a true baffle. Sounds great, a little deeper tone and takes the blattyness out of it.

Also had the tank lift done plus all the first service stuff. I told Tom I thought there might be a vacuum leak or something, the bike wasn't running like I thought it should when I dropped it off and he said he'd look into it. Well going through the motor he found the head wasn't torqued down all the way and effed the head gasket. He replaced the head gasket and torqued it back up good. He also re-jetted the carb to a 48 and 105.

I also had a clunking noise coming from the rear and Tom fixed that one too. The chain sprocket was bent slightly causing the noise and the chain would slap so he installed a new one that fixed the problem. Let me tell you the Weave knows his stuff and went well above and beyond what he needed to do to fix my bike. Every issue, problem or noise I had he found and addressed everything! He even washed and polished the freaking thing! All for a very very cheap price too.

Didn't get to ride much but it definitely felt a lot better. I'm down the shore right now preparing for this crazy ass hurricane!
