Gardo, what time you think you will be at the shop? I am probably going to try and get there a little after lunch but we will see how it plans out. So mad I don't have the bike with me and been on vacation so havent rode in almost 2 weeks.... but had beginners luck in Vegas so now have some more money to put into the bike

Yeah Gardo if I can scrape together the cash I'd love to do the head mod over the winter. I really changes the way the bike rides. Do you know if they were going to offer a different motor? For some reason I heard something about a v-twin 250.

Well guys I had a great day today. Went to PIT/WeaverRides to see Tom and Gardo...however neither showed up haha. But I got to meet Al and Brett from PIT and wow what a bunch of great guys. Come to find out it is a small world and they dealed with a company I worked with over the past 6 months. They hooked me up with small things I needed and gave me some great info. Al even promised me a Philly Cheesesteak next time I come up

Gardo, I heard you had problems with the wife though so I understand. I dropped the girlfriend off at the mall while I went to the shop so it worked out for me. Got to see the old 8 ball run and some other bikes and customer bikes that ran great and sounded great. Also got to see some of Tom's custom work in progress...the man has a talent for sure. Figured out that the dealer I got my bike from is no longer a dealer and that the issues I had were a result of him and not me. Brett promised me that anything I need to just give them a call and they would be more than happy to help out with is a great reminder of the service they have and care for their customers.

Well I am just rambling on now but one more question. I got to asking them about taken off EPA stuff and they said to just plug the holes and what not but I can not seem to find the rubber plugs they had on the bikes...anybody know where they can be found? Thanks

Installed the G&D long exhaust today, and it sounds waaayyyyyy better than the stock exhaust (I left the baffle in). I also put on the kickstart lever, which I purchased directly from the Cleveland Cyclewerks website... and... I'm a little miffed. It does not clear the G&D long pipe... even though the description on the website says, "On tha Heist this piece is for looks only, as it hits the stock exhaust if you try to kick it over. It is for looks only at the moment, unless you are running an aftermarket exhaust." Well, since the G&D long pipe that they offer is an aftermarket exhaust, I figured that's what they were referring to... after all, they sell it, so you'd think they would explicitly state that the kickstart wouldn't work with the aftermarket exhausts that they sell. I strongly suggest that they note on their website that this kickstart will not clear the G&D aftermarket exhausts that they offer. Regardless, I am VERY happy with the bike, the new G&D long pipe, and I'll either wait until they make a new kickstart, or just make/mod my own. As a side note, I could have sworn that someone posted a picture of a wrapped G&D long pipe that showed that the kickstart lever that Cleveland Cyclewerks offers does in fact clear it even with the extra width from the wrap... maybe it's just my luck that mine doesn't clear my (unwrapped) exhaust?

Hey guys been a few days of hard partying and riding, Pat sorry about Friday got caught up in a hangover and family stuff LoL. As far as the Emission stuff what you will need to do is when you take the canister off the motor there is a gasket. Trace it out and make a block off plate out of aluminum. Pretty simple to do and it sounds like you have access to some tools
the guys at the shop are awesome Al is one of the best people that i have the honor to meet in my life and Brett is a good guy.
There is such support for these bikes it really is amazing and refreshing that a company stands by their brand.

JK3, we just need to kick around once you get the bike back, either a Rutts run on Wed or the Chatterbox on Thursday introduce you to Matt the other heist rider in our area

SteelToe I think it might be an issue with the cast on that kickcker shoot the guys at CCW an email and they may swap out the kicker

Gene that first ride is a great feeling I had a smile on for weeks

Well i broke over 4000 miles on the bike yesterday, was a pretty cool moment when i realized it on I287NJ heading into I87 in NY. Good times yesterday

I sent an email to CCW and received a reply back. They were very understanding and have since updated the description about the kickstart on their website.
