Well while at O'riley's I had them give it a quick test, they said toast. but I think I may give it a charge anyway...but still am gonna buy a new one. maybe with some luck...which is much needed these past couple days, the old battery may have some life in it and I can store it and use it as a spare incase the next one fails down the road.

Pull the brake in and push down with your thumb against the throttle.I admit that I have done it in my youth. Now that I am older an just a smidge wiser,I don't do stuff like that.I care to much for my riding privlages to do burn outs, wheelies,or stoppies.Stoppies are unavoidable during panic stops sometimes.

Finally got the seat I ordered and now installed. Stock seat was angled to the left. Found it was the welded front bracket was off. No bending was going to correct without possibly cracking frame. The new seat was designed for a Harley. Using the stock seat frame, I fabricated a 6"x13" 16 gauge plate with a rear break at 90 degrees (for strength) Attached stock bolts thru bottom, then two bolts up into the new seat. Allowed a straight installation. Allows a natural angle sitting or at rest. Rides great.seat 001.jpgseat 002.jpg
