ok im disappointed,i made a call to my dmv in new york this bike will not be allowed to be registered, law pass in jan 2011 needs to be CARB approved, you think they would be more worryed about the buses pouring out black toxic fumes
over alittle 250cc mc,next we will be told how and when we could wipe our asses.we need to bring back the 70's 80's when nobody cared and worryed over ever little thing, next thing you know they will be making everyone pad there walls with four inches of cotton so when we stub our toes we wont get hurt.

that law is for all five boroughs, must be carb approved.

Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Staten Island.

Let your brother that lives in Allentown, Pa. register it in his name. If anybody asks he let you borrow it for the summer.

Can these bikes not be brought up to code? How does anyone build a bike from scratch and register it then? If you have the bike registered and they change the law- what then? :0

Thanks everyone for all the info on the dong fang. Like a lot of people im still up in the air on it. Those of you that have had their Dong Fang bobbers for a while do you still happy with your bikes, or all the little china built problems making you regret it?

    Thank you much..

I agree with Dan except I haven't had a problem with the lights other than the head light could be a little brighter.
