Sorry, a Sportster is a Harley-Davidson model. It is a 883cc bike with a slightly smaller profile. I think it is a good size for Beijing, in and out of the city.

You can probably see the HD-Sportster on the USA website.

I have never heard of ANY motorcycle financing, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. Chinese banks, however, are very reluctant to provide financing, of any sort, to foreigners. I couldn't get a simple credit card for years, not until I had property ownership, WFOE ownership, and even a Chinese citizen's personal guarantee. And even now, I sometimes get people wondering if my credit card is fake "because foreigners aren't supposed to have them." The upside is that I will never get myself saddled in debt.

Hi Lao Jia Hou

I actually went to the dealerships yesterday, such as HD, Suzuki and Benelli, i like the Bellini BJ600gs, a nice looking naked bike but not sure about the reliability aspects.Also quite cheap at 39,000 RMB.

The HD and the Japanese bikes are more expensive than AUS.

Well i am not in a big rush, i will take one step at a time.
