If your "manufacturer" GET SHUT DOWN THEN YOUR PRODUCT IS ORPHANED AND THEN IT HAS NO SUPPORT AND HAS LITTLE RESALE VALUE.

MJH the 2 stroke motor that use Christini in there bikes are from GAS GAS Spain.Which have a complete top notch enduro line. But they use Yamaha motors in the 4 strokes models. InAttachment 8353 the professional enduro circuit the european manufactures are turning again in to 2 stroke models for racing. Its more cost effective! So next year you will see Beta & Sherco using 2 stroke motors again. Fantic from italy are using GasGas 2 stroke and Yamaha 4stroke in they enduro bikes.

They seem to be doing a relatively good job marketing the bikes, but all that would interest me is SM but at $8,195.00 there will not be one in my garage anytime soon.

The red case on the side is the chain drive for the front drive.

That indeed is Asiawing. With its way-too-small-for-an-SM front wheel and stock hubs/spokes, which means BS. No AWD bike can ride on screwed-up hubs.
Oh, and it's extremely complicated to ride AWD with a factory-screwed-up gearbox too.
Question, though: my bike's front fork isn't marked anyhow. Neither is the rear shock. This one has Paioli marking all over. Could it be that my bike has Paioli too? BTW, can say nothing bad about the fork, good job there, Asiawing.
The price of that contraption is amazing. It is no way worth that price tag. Don't know who'd be buying that, but whoever they are, they are had big time.

Hi Steve! If you look carefully you will see AWD system on the fork. You can see how the system work at you tube. The suspension that they use front are italian Paioli (aka premiun) suspension. Asiawing also manufacture and sellto them the hall frame & body for the 2 stroke models so i figure this partnership will go for few years. Also the US army just signed recently a contract to supply this model for the army & marines so though testing has been used. This kind of contract are the ones that asiawing need to improve there products. At the end customers will benefit for the higher quality standard!devgroup-motorcycle.jpg

If I come across a government procurement document for the claimed procurement of these and it has anywhere near the asking prices I am seeing, I may spontaneously combust.

The marines use KLR’s and with special engines that run on any fuel. I would not and do not think this product is proven enough for them, they may have bought some for testing, but even that seems hard to believe.

The front drive system seems very simple and it could work well or should work well when the back wheel looses traction.

AsiaWings target market has always been higher then other Chinese motorcycle companies, but they have a terrible reputation. I imagine that the Honda 450 in the bike would have some patents on it, see first paragraph.

In the Christini website they said that US goverment signed allready. I wish it would be true, because that will make them more carefull on the quality standard!

More precisely, "Hayes Diversified Technologies" from Hesperia CA and not all Kawasaki-based models that are produced there. Although, I do not know how the story ended, because HDT's site is not at the old address.

So it's Asiawing frame and Asiawing engine with Piaoli fork. Hope it works for the army. And the marines.
