anyone know what the 2 wires do that connect right next to the clutch. I have pulled them out and they dont appear to make a bit of difference to anything on the bike. I was told by Pit guys that it would make a diffrence by unplugging one and plugging one in so i could start my bike in any gear with the clutch in. Well ive tried every combination and they dont do anything. Can anyone HElp thanks

I hate to promote Facebook (cause I detest Facebook) but apparently everyone's over on the Heist Facebook site. Been real quite (nearly dead) here but I refuse to rejoin :)

Now on to solo seat suspension. I think I have an original design for a more comfortable springless ride... Hmmm... or not :0

Quick note about my NOS Bridgestone Speedometer: The needle moves like butter- smooth and steady. No jumping, jerking- just a beautiful thing to watch. Is it accurate? Still not certain. Since it is a Japanese speedo I'm banking on 2240:60. Nothing else goin on :)

Spedometer looks good. Were you able to just pop that in. I bought a spedometer but the thread on spedometer is 5/8.

Thanx. I took a blind chance and luckily the threads matched (phew). But it's big so I did have to find a housing for it and drill out the holes but kept the original mounting bracket. Which speedo did you buy?
Read what you said about the neutral light over on another forum :) It is a pain for sure. I'm still practicing to ride as this is my first motorcycle. Have spent more time tweaking than riding.

I bought the Royal enfield one on eBay. Took it al apart lol then saw it didn't fit. U know if they make an adapter or do I have to get another cable? I finally figured out if you pull the wires by the clutch out and connect them you can start bike in any gear. That neutral deal drives me nuts.

I've seen adapters but which ones would fit? I don't know the heist's thread size.
