Not even a fraction of a percent. The point is that Japanese aggression directly impacted people in my family, but we got over it, and don't harbour ill will towards Japan.

I mention the US because I'm American and we were attacked by Japan. ZMC mentioned he's from the UK, which was attacked by Germany, yet he doesn't hate Germans. Cultures that aren't rooted in "face" tend to be much better at forgiveness than those that are. I'm only sharing my personal experience of being egged on in conversations with locals when they ask where I stand on the Japan issue. So to answer your question, no, it's not hard to imagine, but it is frustrating watching young people being poisoned with questionable propaganda.
