depending on conditions, super revs, up alot of hills, warm air, one could float the valves. [if that's the case] just wait a day and it will run fine. sometimes hours. [and if you use]regular grade gas could cause vapor lock, flood the valves(float)and make a motor run like crap. top grade gas is better all around because the hotter spark lets you not have to work a bike as hard. less gas dumped in carb. runs smoother.
to keep up with traffic this bike has to be run hard enough to possibly cause a vapor lock.
like i say, i don't know what gas you use or how went the ride other than what you said.
hope that's all it is. cause that's an easy fix. and easy to avoid next time.
i know, sound like i floated a million valves. i have.
not really a million for all those college kids who are counting.
Thanks for the tips. I run it on 98 ron/octane so should be ok on that front

if you bought a sprocket from the no longer existing chinamoto on line store, toss it in the trash. safety hazard. i got one from old bike barn, its %ages better all the way. (38t)

going to hook the blue and white together and leave the green alone.
    headlight blinding. tested it today.

but here it is. and here is what it is. 2 in a package sucks. pricey. but nice place to store

Just hit 100 miles yesterday and the bikes running 100%. Got to change my oil now.

dandaman- how did those sprocket bolts fit that you just got on page 326? did you have to cut them for length or do they fit right in?
