a) check battery power (broken cell -> may result in sudden death)
b) if battery ok -> unscrew the spark plug or use a 2nd one in the connector and check if you get a spark
c) if spark OK -> check fuel supply -> carburetor? -> check the jets
d) also check your air filter as good practice

If you have a EFI bike -> get to the garage and let it check/change
