Well, I did verify that there are Dong Fangs (or Dong Fang maybe) registered in my state of Hawaii. The lady at the DMV checked for me.

The jets are NOT the same as came with the 2010 model. I replaced the high speed jet (a 105) with a 108 like I did on my ex 2010 model.

Either I ordered the wrong low speed jet or JETS R US sent me the wrong one but I'll check that out later.
Barone would you please explain the benefit of changing the jets how you are doing.
I certainly find a lag past 2/3 or 3/4 throttle so i imagine the high speed should be changed.
So did you solve such an issue with the 108?

But how about the low speed? What problem are you finding?

    From post #168

Results: The bike pulls better and revs higher. Was stumbling at high RPM before change.

Stock main is a 88. I used a 100 for the first try. Also have a 105 and a 110 maybe to try.
Stock pilot (low speed) is a 40.

    Jets from http://www.jetsrus.com/a_jets_by_car...4-36_main.html

Also I installed two washers under the needle that helps the mid range.
    Three washers were too much.

Bike pulls much better now and almost no popping.

Still waiting for the 14 tooth front sprocket which should fix the getting across the intersection without shifting to second gear issue. If the sprocket is too big then smaller rear is the cure as suggested by Aboshi.

The above is about what I had to do to my other bikes to solve the lean and gearing issues.
Barnone, you must have forgot about this.

no one busted my ass for that johnny pag thing. that was the point really. same motorcycle, for 5000BUCKS!. also no one laughed at my tool bag offer.
it was all supposed to be funny, for a laugh. or some one might say, wow, you sure are lucky to not have had all those problems like we did. did i mention no battery leak or trouble there in the box at all? some how i got the lucky draw.
but instead its 'who got nuthin for what'. the point is, fun, and not, the asking price. but thats all that came out of it. i joined back in to heat the heaters.
mentioned lately, how things get distorted, and some maybe even get pushy towards folks around in here, when it is really just a gigantic chat room for df guys to have fun. no one wants to read shit like,"oh yeah poopie face, my calculator goes to 11". whothefuckcares. does your bike only go to 11? then we care.

    Got me. Senior moment.
Yeah, the 2010 was super lean from the factory.
So the high speed jet was upgraded like you mentioned.

    I did find a post were I ended up with a 108.
I was experiencing the lag on my 2012 like axa mentioned. I'll see if it is gone tomorrow.
I must have just raised the needle for the low speed and not fooled with the low speed jet.
    I'll check the needle tomorrow.
