Hmmm ... although I kinda think they are BMWs, the mystery deepens. There seems to be some "evidence" that there might be a new CF Moto police bike that looks a lot like a BMW. Here is something being uncrated at a CF Moto dealer in Beijing:
Found in this motorfans link.

Couldn't find anything on the CFMoto Chinese website (cfmoto.cn), but someone should let CFMoto know that it needs a native English language editor ...

Good find, thanks!
Someone mentioned to me that the price is 200K rmb, although I haven't yet confirmed that. I doubt members of the public would be able to buy one, even if so inclined.
It was reasonably expected that a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer would raise its game with the production of a more "presentable" police escort bike. In the past, seeing police motorcycle escorts of visiting Presidents, Prime Ministers, etc, where the police were riding Suzuki GN125s and 250s looked a little silly.
I recall that on the car-side, there was quite a bit of criticism 10 years ago that Chinese "leaders" had been using foreign Mercedes as official cars. HongQi (Red Flag) stepped up its game a few years ago with the new "official" car, which is now commonly seen in Beijing. For the very top leaders, however, it seems that the classic-style HongQi limos are deployed.

I attended KTMR2R Ningbo official opening ceremony/celebrations Sunday 26th Oct. The event was well attended with a range of bikes and riders of all types there. Little hot for many as we sat on seats set in a direct line of sight of the sun in all its glory.
One of the CFMoto aficionados was there (who I met with Buck and Amy of the Great Ride of China), to complete the handover of some official document as well as the ribbon cutting ceremony. Due to my oversight (having left my good camera at home on the water cooler where I placed it before heading to the garage to move bikes round etc), meaning I departed home without said camera. That little oversight and the fact that it was hot, meant I took few photos of the events or all the bikes lined up.
Unfortunately the CFMoto aficionado did not stay long enough after the official events had completed, nor did he attend the special lunch held at a nice restaurant thereafter, therefore I was unable to quiz him on the CF650G nor the supposed 650MT. There was a display poster of the 650G but nothing of the 650MT.
From what I can tell, the 650G has:
- Wheelbase: 1415mm
- Seat height: 780-810mm (containing adjustable cushion/airbag)
- Minimum ground clearance: 140mm
- Curb weight: 265kg (allow maybe 20-30kg for the police gizmo's)
- In-line 2 cylinder 52kW@8750rpm 4 stroke liquid cooled
- 4 valves/cylinder
- Bore x Stroke 83.0 X 60.0mm
- Compression ratio 11.3:1
- Displacement: 650cc
- 6-speed manual transmission
- Steering head angle 32°
- Wet multi-plate clutch
- BOSCH EFI
- LED lighting (headlight/tailight)
- LED indicators (turn signals) redesigned from the 650TR/TK
- Redesigned front headlight (including a pair of projector lenses)
- Electric adjustable screen (range over 100mm) with position memory
- ABS (though the brake calipers are still the JiJuan brand as found on the 650NK/TR/TK)
- Ø43mm inverted shock absorbers with adjustable preload and dampening
- Air inflatable adjustable seat (range of 30mm) with what looks to be a more upright (comfortable) riders position.
- Instrument panel, has separate dial tachometer and speedometer, with LCD odometer, trip meter and clock, but no gear indicator
- Integrated luggage
- Front tyre 120/70 ZR17
- Rear tyre 180/55 ZR17

Hi Doc
Thanks for the great in fore on the CF650G, nice to see ABS on the bike, shame about not taking your camera and not having more opportunity to question the CF official on the MT .
265Kg ? not sure if that is a good selling point but so happy things are moving forwards with CF, with the good job been done on the 650G lets just keep our fingers crossed that the "MT" will come out as good, well only a few weeks to wait to find out."Arguing on the Internet is like running in the Special Olympics, even if you win you're still retarded"

Tx for the info bikerdoc!
Yup, China's official English newspaper from government confirms it is the new CFMoto 650G ...
http://www.globaltimes.cn/content/889135.shtml
Interesting read, especially the "Escort Requirements" (I assume these are the necessary basic rider skills):
1) change drivers while driving (WTF?!?!?!)
2) do a wheelie across a plank bridge (really? seriously?)
3) cross cut-off bridge (I've no idea what that is)
4) 360 degree U-turn (uh, isn't a U-turn 180 degrees?)
5) catch wrestling and grappling (huh?)
I'd really like to see an escort switch riders from bike to bike, while doing wheelies! I suspect there might be some wrestling & grappling involved in the maneuvers. Still, in my opinion, no country can hold a candle to the police riders in India, during one of their exhibitions.
