What you keep calling a gasket is the aluminum plate that goes over the gasket to block the SAI port. You can use the gasket as a pattern make the plate. I made my plate out of 1/8" aluminum and placed it over the gasket to cover the hole. Removing that smog pump will have no affect on the engine's fuel mixture. The engine should run a little cooler.

I changed my DF's main jet to a 100 and added a washer under the needle. Plug color is good.
