[QUOTE=barnone;27040]Just found out where the Heist came from. Change the engine, seat, rear brake, and front forks and you got it.

how about the - frame? heist are longer and gooseneck, rims and tires? heist are bigger front and rear, headlight? heist bigger, gas tank? kikker 1.3gal and heist 2+gal, faux oil tank, battery box, foot controls, risers and so on...........are all not same.
but they both same bobber style motorcycle.

Thanks Jers, one of the things I have learned these last few months though it may look alike they are far from the same. There are a lot of similarities with the dual down tube rigid frames and other pieces that make up the bike as a whole, but its been what you put into it that sets it apart. I find that the Heist is a canvas waiting for an artist.

    Jers,
This started when Gardo made the claim that the Dong Fang was an illegal copy of the Heist I guess told to him by CCW or Pit.
The point is that the Heist is a modified copy of the Hardknock 200 not the Hardknock 125.

    Hardknock 200

    Heist

The story is that the CCW guy had a falling out with the Hardknock guy and went to China and got the Hardknock 200 bike modified.

Another difference is what the frames of the Kikker and Heist are made out of...

Kikker : Claims 4130 Chromoly ( not sure of the wall thickness ) ,,, thinner wall tubing that is lighter and stiffer ,,, alot of Kikker owners are having problems with the backbone cracking or stress fractures on the down tube side just above the rear motor mount...

Heist : 1020 DOM ,,, thicker wall tubing that has a little more weight but is more flexible giving it forgiveness to stress and vibrations... I have not yet heard any problems with stress fractures or cracking in the Heist...

    just my 2 pennies
