Woo Hoo! Best thing I did for the bike put another 170miles on the bike today Rode up the GSP into NY onto I87 and over the Tapan Zee Bridge up the Saw Mill Parkway onto I684 keeping a constant speed of 65 - 75 with more left over to get around the slower vehicles

Irish - how did the airbag install go today?

Hey whoa whoa whoa, what's with the kicker!!!??? Please explain, did Tom come up with a mount that works around the stock exhaust?

I'm working on a tank lift as well, did you do anything to the rear mount?

Looks great Gardo, I've got some catching up to do with everything that's been going on around here.

That is a kicker and at present it is just for show with the stock pipe, Tom will have the one he is fabricating soon, but I am redoing my vision of the Widow.
All we did was lift the front of the tank, at some point over the winter I want to move the petcock all the way to the rear of the tank.

JK heading to Rutt's Tonight about 730 - 800 if you are interested

Thanks for the reply Gardo, my bike is sitting down the shore right now. I'm up north now to clean out my desk at work, just got laid off last week.

JK, sorry to hear about your job situation... Hope something opens up. Firm believer that when one door shuts another opens. Good Luck man!

Gardo the bike is looking sweet and so is that carrier on the back of the X. Miss my X at times. Had a red one! Glad to hear it is still running like a beast with throttle left as well. So giving me the itch to do some engine work like the widow has had done to her! I cant wait to get everything done. Kick stand looks great as well. As far as my air bag install.... Well i ran out of time... I stopped to go to a Jimmy Buffet concert up near cleveland last night and my parrot head had to get there early because that is a must in margaritaville. I did get the back mounted to the frame and seat and the hole drilled thru the engine mount. Today I will run the hose and teflon tape everything and hopes that it holds air..LOL Question for you tho. I notice you have your seat in the furtherest back position, Does your seat rub the fender? Also does your air bladder of the air bag stay straight up? Mine seems to be angled forward a bit but my seat is in the middle position and when i tried the furthest back it would rub the fender..

    Keep on riding on!
